From Krakow: Zakopane Cable Car, Spirits, Tasting & Thermal Baths
Visit the charming town of Zakopane, nestled in the Tatra Mountains, on a day trip from Krakow. Try a ride by Gubałówka Hill Cable car, soak in thermal baths, and see unique wooden architecture.
Join us for a day full of local charm, culture, and breathtaking views!
We’ll begin in the picturesque village of Chochołów, where you’ll see beautifully preserved wooden houses and visit a local sculptor’s home. Then, we’ll head to nearby Witów for a tasting of traditional highlander cheese (oscypek) and local spirits.
Next, we’ll take you to Zakopane’s famous local market, where you can shop for handmade crafts, souvenirs, and delicious regional products.
Afterwards, enjoy a scenic ride on the Gubałówka funicular for stunning panoramic views of the Tatra Mountains. You'll then have free time to stroll along Krupówki – Zakopane’s lively main street full of shops, cafes, and local flavors.
To finish your visit in Zakopane, you may choose to explore two wooden architectural gems: the charming Jaszczurówka Chapel and the historic Pęksowy Brzyzek cemetery (optional).
Before heading back, we’ll stop at Chochołowskie Thermal Baths – the largest thermal complex in the region. Relax and unwind for 3 hours in warm mineral-rich waters, indoor and outdoor pools, saunas, and jacuzzis, all with a stunning view of the mountains.
After your relaxing spa experience, we’ll return comfortably to Kraków.
