From Krakow: Wieliczka Salt Mine with private transport

4 hours

Moderate

Visit the Wieliczka Salt Mine Museum, a UNESCO-listed site with stunning underground chambers and salt sculptures. Discover its history on a guided tour with private transport from Krakow.

Our Salt Mine Tour from Krakow lasts approximately 4 hours and includes private, door-to-door transport in a modern car with a friendly, English-speaking driver. The journey to Wieliczka takes around 30 minutes each way. Upon arrival, you’ll join a regular group guided tour of the Salt Mine, which lasts about 2.5 hours.

The Wieliczka Salt Mine is one of the oldest in the world, operating continuously since the 13th century. During the tour, you’ll descend around 135 meters underground and explore a labyrinth of chambers, tunnels, and saline lakes. Highlights include stunning chapels carved entirely out of salt, including the breathtaking Chapel of St. Kinga, as well as intricate salt sculptures and underground saline lakes.

We will arrange your pickup time to match the scheduled entry to the museum for a smooth and comfortable experience. After the tour, you’ll be dropped off at your hotel or any location in Krakow city centre.
